1. | Open the Control Center either by double-clicking the Atakama shortcut on the desktop or by clicking the "^" button in the system tray menu, then right-clicking on the Atakama icon and clicking on Control Center. |
2. | Open the "Secure Folders" tab. |
3. | Click "+ Add Secure Folder". |
4. | Click "Secure a Folder". |
5. | Click "Browse". |
6. | Select an existing folder or create a new folder in the desired location and click "Next". Existing Atakama Secure Folders can't be used, only empty folders or folders containing unencrypted files can be selected. It is recommended that a folder be created locally on a computer when sharing via cloud, and directly in a network location when sharing via the network. |
7. | Enter the Vault Path location of this Secure Folder, then click "Next". |
8. | Enter a name for the Secure Folder which will serve as a Global Identifier. |
9. | Open "Select a Security Group" from the dropdown menu and either select existing or create a new Security Group. We recommended creating a new Security Group. |
10. | Click "Next". |
11. | Enter a name for the Security Group. |
12. | Click "Next". |
13. | Verify that the names of the Secure Folder and Security Group match the names entered and click the "Begin" button |
14. | Verify that the names of the Secure Folder and the Security Group displayed in the request on the mobile device match the names entered and tap "Approve". |
15. | Click the "Configure" button to display the "Secure Folder Configuration" screen. (Secure Folder Configuration) |
