Connect mobile devices using Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi

Introduction

In situations where you do not have Internet access or do not want to use available Wi-Fi, you can enable Atakama to use Bluetooth instead.

What you'll need:

• A computer with support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with Atakama already set up on the computer.
• A mobile device with support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) that has already been added to your Atakama profile.

Instructions

1. Click on the Atakama icon in the System Tray bar.

2. Click on the Bluetooth icon, click "Enable Bluetooth".
    

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to enable Bluetooth in the Atakama mobile app in the Settings menu. 

4. Right-click on the device with Bluetooth enabled.

5. Click the “Connect” button in the menu.

6. On the mobile device, the message "Connected via BT" is shown at the bottom.
