Folder missing when connecting to the Cloud Storage provider

The following are reasons why you're unable to find or use the folder you created via the cloud storage provider web interface or their desktop software:

  • The folder is a sub-folder; we only support folders at the top level and sub-folders are not shown.
  • The folder is not empty; folders that contain files not created using Atakama are greyed out.
  • The folder was shared with you, but you have not added it to your account (see below).

To add a folder that was shared with you in Google Drive:

Open Google Drive's web interface, click on "Shared with me". Right-click on the folder shared with you and select "Add to My Drive".

To add a folder that was shared with you in Dropbox:

Open Dropbox's web interface, click on Files, then click on Sharing. Click on the folder shared with you and click on "Add".
