Why is Atakama blocking certain application functions?

Some application functions generate duplicate copies, such as artifacts or thumbnail previews, of your Atakama-encrypted files. Those artifacts and previews are then saved on disk. Atakama prevents these functions from running to avoid the creation of duplicate unencrypted copies of files that are being protected by Atakama.

In Windows, Atakama blocks Explorer from previewing thumbnails of your Atakama-encrypted files.

In MacOS, Atakama blocks Finder from previewing thumbnails of your Atakama-encrypted files.
