Why are image and movie files opening in my web rowser?

If you are using Windows Media Player to open image and movie files encrypted with Atakama, those files will open in your default web browser. When opening image and movie files, Windows Media Player generates an artifact file of the image or movie. The artifact file is cached and the cached copy remains unencrypted. To avoid the creation of unencrypted and cached artifact files, Atakama opens image and movie files in your web browser.

As an alternative to Windows Media Player, you can choose to open your image and movie files using other programs (e.g., VLC) that do not generate artifact files.
