When "Require verification for all Secure File Transfer recipients" is enabled, the Sender of the file will need to verify the Profile ID for first time recipients (i.e., the person receiving the file) in order to be able to securely export encrypted files.
To verify a recipient:
Open the Control Center → Options tab → Miscellaneous Options → Enable the “Require verification for all Secure File Transfer recipients“ option.
After a Secure File Transfer link has been sent to the recipient and the recipient has started the process to receive the encrypted file(s) click the “Verify Recipient” button.
Ask the recipient for their Profile ID, which the recipient will see in their web browser after they click on the Secure File Transfer link they received. Enter the unique four words provided by the recipient in the “Verify Recipient” window and click the “Verify” button.
When the recipient is verified the window can be closed.
With "Require verification for all Secure File Transfer recipients" option disabled, the Sender will not be required to verify recipients' Profile IDs, and recipients will be able to decrypt and view files as soon as they receive and click on the Secure File Transfer link.
